Chihkan Festival of All Gods
The Virgin of East and West protects the quartet
All the gods of the ancient land are inlaid with red.
The 2024 Chihkan Ten Thousand Gods Festival coincides with the 400th anniversary of Tainan. The entire Tainan is lively from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. This year, the Great Tin Hau Palace of Huadian will host the Fifth Ten Thousand Gods Festival at the Star Palace Temple. The Eastern Virgin–Mazu is the protagonist of the event, and the Western Virgin–Maria is invited to join the event. East and West join forces to carry it down.The last stick of the South 400 relay, from east to west, from the people to the gods, crossed boundaries to write this unique cultural feast.
Chihkan Festival
The business district of Tainan Chi Chi Peng Pai has entered the public eye with activities such as the Festival of All Gods, the Festival of Life, and the Lantern Festival. This project will use the 400-year-old style of Tainan's red-embedded style on display at the Festival of Life to allow people to experience the "taste buds", "fitting clothes", "craftsmanship" and "playing life" of different ethnic groups in the periods of Dutch rule, Ming and Zheng Dynasties, Qing Dynasties, and Japanese rule.；
There are also exchange experiences of various different cultures such as Southern Fujian, family village, Japanese style, Dutch style, and Silaya. The Festival of Life interprets the 400-year tradition of innovative Tainan and looks to the world and the future.
